Following the Urban Renewal Authority’s redevelopment plans to revamp several districts, it is currently the right time for property owners to consider upgrading their existing building facade in order to lure more tenants and enhance the rent revenue at a prevailing market level with minimal construction costs.
Alanodic Façade Engineering Ltd., (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alanodic Metal Coloring Co., Ltd.) has been established. In view of the current trend to revamp property markets, the company has decided to setup an exclusive team to carry-out maintenance work with renovation focused on building facades whose warranty periods have expired.
Generally speaking, the guarantee period for most building materials (i.e. glass, gasket & sealant) are 10 years as per industrial standards. Consequently, deterioration of gaskets/ frame oxidation/ detachment of glass coatings or metal panels may occur due to factors such as serious pollution and lack of continual maintenance/ periodic replacement of fatigued materials. In particular, typhoons may cause water leakage and/ or glass breakage in some occasions.
